Ingredients:
- Burger buns
- Hash browns -shredded or a whole potato
- Onions finely chopped and marinated in lemon juice salt and chillipowder for atleast 5 mins
- Chilli powder, salt, chaat masala, dry mango powder
- Tamarind chutney
- Oil/butter - 1 - 3 tsp
- Take the potato and boil it peel it and mash it else if you are using hash browns.. heat in microwave for a minute till soft and add the powders and salt
- Roll out into balls and flatten between palms
- Grease pan with oil/butter
- put the flattened potato patty and shallow fry till reddish brown on each side.
- Toast the burger buns also if desired
- Place the tikki(patty) on the bun and top off with the finely chopped , marinated onion
- spread some tamarind chutney on the other half of the bun and place on the arranged bun..and voila! u have a tiki burger!
